lil' ol' me Making a BIG Difference Chick-Fil-A Chastain Square

March 27, 2010 Come join lil’ ol’ me Making a BIG Difference , “foundation for a lil’ nation” on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 12-2 at Chick-Fil-A Chastain Square, 4285 Roswell Rd., Atlanta, GA. It is going to be a great day to kick off National Autism Awareness Month! Chick-Fil-A is partnering with lil’ ol’ me Making a BIG Difference to raise awareness among kids about autism as well as raise money to provide scholarships and therapy to children with autism. We will have the Atlanta Fire department on hand to show the kids all the cool parts of their fire trucks! The kids will have so much fun on the Easter egg hunt….just wait until they see the surprise that awaits them inside the eggs!! Of course the Easter Bunny will be hopping by to say hello and wish everyone a happy Easter! Lil’ ol’ me Making a Big Difference will be there with Dr. Janet Lund to hand out information about the foundation as well as information about the importance of early intervention in the diagnoses of Autism, the signs, and any questions anyone may have. Of course, the great news is that there will be lots of yummy Chick-Fil-A on hand for lunch! The best news? Chick-Fil-A is donating a percentage of all of the sales from 12-2 to the lil’ ol’ me Making a BIG Difference foundation, a 501 (c) (3) . So come by, have fun, have a yummy lunch, and know you have done your part in making a BIG difference in a child’s life who is dealing with the challenges of Autism.

Lil’ ol’ me is up and running! After 8 months of hard work lil’ ol’ me is ready to embrace the retail market. With a great group of women and an amazing giant pink cupcake, the celebration could not have been better! Eclipse De Luna hosted our party with enthusiasm and great service! It has been 8 months of rewards and challenges, and I could not have faced those without the help of my friends who joined me on this night. Read more...

Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, YMCA Tennis Georgia, and USTA join together to bring the first annual Atlanta Circle Cup Celebration! Atlanta YMCA campers got the opportunity to learn the game of tennis on a day planned just for them! lil’ ol’ me was right there to join in the fun and help these enthusiastic kids learn the great game of tennis! Walk Now For Autism

Team lil’ ol’ me joined the 3rd annual Walk Now For Autism Georgia to raise money for Autism Speaks, a national charity that raises funds for autism research and awareness. This was the exciting debut of lil’ ol’ me Making a BIG Difference! Our team wore our shirts with pride, excitement and love for a cause so dear to our hearts. Out of 36 balloons I think only 1 got away in the wind! An impressive turnout……over 20,000 people! Read more...
